WINPOX CEMENT SL

DESCRIPTION

The product was specifically developed for interior or exterior applications over horizontal cementitious substrates subjected to negative hydrostatic pressure.

WINPOX CEMENT SL is the ideal solution for providing excellent vapor barrier to slabs on grade, elevator shafts, concrete floors (including industrial) or other horizontal concrete substrates situated above rooms or other places with high moisture content (steam rooms, bathrooms, interior swimming pools, etc.).

Any WINKLER liquid applied products or special mortars can be applied over surfaces treated with Winpox cement SL.

  • Application

    Apply on clean surfaces using spatula and help leveling with roller shutter. Wet the substrate when dry. Apply with 1 to 3 mm thickness. Mix at low RPM.
  • Consumption

    0.43 Lbs. per Sq. Ft. (2.1 Kg / m²) every 40 mils (1 mm) of wet film thickness.
  • Useful Advices

    Allow the product to cure at temperatures between 41F and 95F (+5°C and +35°C) away from direct sun exposure. Do not apply the product if inclement weather, rain, heavy dew or freezing are forecasted. Sand after 24 hours before applying a new coat or other product. Wet thicknesses at application can vary between 1 to 7 mm. More thickness can be build over, after 36 hours of curing.

    PACKAGING

    Small Kit: 35.27 Lbs. (16 Kg) bucket containing: Part A 2.65 Lbs. (1.2 Kg), Part B 6.17 Lbs. (2.8 Kg) and Part C 26.45 Lbs. (12 kg). Large Kit: 70.55 Lbs. (32 Kg.) bucket containing: Part A 5.3 Lbs. (2.4 Kg), Part B 12.35 Lbs. (5.6 Kg.) and Part C 52.9 Lbs. (24 Kg).

    STORAGE

    When kept in its sealed, undamaged package in a shaded covered place at temperatures between 41F and 95F (+5°C and +35°C) product can be stored for 12 months.
